WWMC Medal Winners for 2022

SOMETIMES, IT’S GOOD TO BE EXOTIC. In this case, it’s simply grand. As in, “Grand Champion” grand. The 2022 World-Wide Mustard Competition found its overall winner in the Exotic Category. This year’s champ comes from Develey USA, located appropriately on Mustard Lane in Dyersburg, Tennessee. As their website says, “Each mustard tells the tale of family, tradition, and southern pride.” Congratulations to Tiger Tail Curry Mustard, the latest member of our elite club of grand champions!

To arrive at the Grand Champion, more than 20 chefs and food writers from around the country taste each of the 17 Gold Medal winners — one gold from each category — and they are ranked. The Curator of the Mustard Museum enters their scores into a top secret Grand Champion spreadsheet, tallies the results, and determines the winner of this prestigious international award.

Below you will find all of the 2022 medal winners. Just click a category to reveal the winners. Some mustards are available in the Mustard Museum Gift Shop and are linked to the online store.

Congratulations to the 2022 Grand Champion:
